We have stayed at Mill House in late July for a family wedding. The weather was not good, so we did not take advantage of the wonderful gardens or the hot tub. The view to the meadows is wonderful, as was the breakfast served at the table by a very attentive man. A real treat – we did not have to do our toast or stand up for more coffee. We have arranged to come again later in the year.

I have been coming to Mill House B&B for many years to see relatives in the Sudbury area. It never changes, it is such a delightful old place, with charming owners and their staff. Dogs are welcome and always get a treat at the end of breakfast. We enjoy the stunning views to the pond and water meadows. All bedrooms face the river, beautifully furnished and surprisingly very peaceful.

I found this charming old house, part of it dating from 1500, by accident when looking at the hotel of the same name nearby. I was so welcomed by the owner directing me to the hotel I intended to go to, that I asked to have a look around and got hooked on the old style and beautiful antiques. We decided to stay for one night and have been back twice since then. Their breakfast seems to suit all tastes and the views from the breakfast room are just wonderful.

We saw Mill House B&B when looking for accommodation in Sudbury. I loved my room and the views to the meadows with the cattle swans and ducks all having a swim. The breakfast is excellent, not traditional or great choice but we loved every bit of it. The service is very good, nothing is too much trouble, Mark keeps us all happy with his attentive smile. We already booked for next year as Mill House B&B seems always to be in great demand and not easy to get a booking short notice.
